I believe in being upfront about how this site makes money. If you've read more than one of my reviews, you've probably noticed I mention affiliate links at the top of every article. Here's the full picture.
How Affiliate Links Work on This Site
Some links on HollyHerman.com are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a commission from the brand or retailer — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use my link or go directly to the company's website.
This is how independent review sites stay operational without charging readers for access or running display ads all over every page.
What Affiliate Relationships Don't Change
My reviews are written before I check whether an affiliate program exists. I choose products to review based on reader interest, trending search topics, and whether a product is making claims that deserve scrutiny — not based on which brands offer the highest commissions.
I've given negative reviews to products with lucrative affiliate programs. If a product doesn't hold up under ingredient analysis, or if the claims are unsupported, I say so — regardless of what the affiliate program pays. My reputation is worth more than any single commission.
I've praised products with no affiliate program at all. If something works and deserves a recommendation, I'll recommend it even if I earn nothing from it.
No brand pays me to write reviews. No company sees my content before it's published. No one approves, edits, or influences what I write.
How I Identify Affiliate Links
Every article that contains affiliate links includes a transparency note near the top of the content, before you encounter any links. It looks like this:
Transparency note: This article contains affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
If you see that note, the article contains affiliate links. If you don't see it, it doesn't.
My Commitment to You
The only thing that keeps this site running is readers who trust my recommendations and come back for the next review. The moment I start prioritizing commissions over honesty, that trust is gone — and so is this site.
If you ever feel like a review on this site is biased, misleading, or doesn't match your experience with a product, I want to hear about it. Your feedback matters more than any affiliate check.
Other Things You Should Know
I don't formulate, manufacture, or sell any products. I'm a reviewer. The companies that make these products are separate entities with their own business operations, return policies, and customer service teams. If you have an issue with a product you purchased, you'll need to contact the brand directly.
Prices and availability change. I do my best to include accurate pricing at the time of publication, but brands change their prices, run promotions, and adjust their offerings. Always verify current pricing on the official website before purchasing.
I'm not a doctor. I'm a health and wellness researcher and independent product reviewer. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any supplement or health program.
